Soon, the world of the internet will be evolving from Web1, Web2, Web3 and Metaverse, to what I term as “Web4.” Web4 is the next innovative step in technology, using the convenience of blockchain and advanced artificial intelligence. Web4 involves a shift from a singular web dimension to a more diverse interconnected fabric of opportunity. The idea is to create an environment where individual experiences are interconnected with each other, allowing users to partake in a “metaverse” of sorts, where they can interact with each other in a digital way.

This emerging and highly interactive web interface offers users with more interactive and personalized experiences, allowing them to accomplish tasks more efficiently and with greater accuracy.

Importantly, I would like to share some of my tech history and help educate you on the progression from web1, web2 and web3 to almost where we are approaching in web4 – so, here’s my best educated response:

Web4, the Fourth Generation of the World Wide Web, is a more powerful and sophisticated technology than earlier versions such as Web1, Web2 and Web3. Web4 will incorporate the most recent advancements in web technology and features, introducing users to a more interactive, personalized, and efficient experience.

The key difference between Web4 and earlier versions of the web lies in its use of artificial intelligence (AI). AI is an umbrella term for a variety of technologies and algorithms that enable a computer system to think, interpret, act, and learn on its own and makes it possible for Web4 to identify patterns and interpret data and user behavior more accurately.

This technology also enables automatic applications, such as email responders and chat bots, to respond to user queries in real-time and in a much more accurate and personalized way than earlier versions of the web.
